2 of the World’s Ideal Eating places Announce Collaboration in Sonoma County

Two renowned Michelin-starred eating places from reverse sides of the country are joining forces for a night time of haute dining in Healdsburg. 

On March 31, the partner-and-spouse group behind One Thread restaurant, Kyle and Katina Connaughton, will welcome Junghyun “JP” and Ellia Park of the two-Michelin starred Atomix for a night time of culinary collaboration. The two partners will craft a 10-program tasting menu reflecting both equally restaurants’ Asian-influenced cuisines and services models. 

Single Thread, which very last calendar year retained its elusive three Michelin stars and made No. 37 on the once-a-year “The World’s 50 Most effective Restaurants” list, serves unique Japanese dishes designed from clean ingredients equipped by the Solitary Thread Farm. This is not the initial time Solitary Thread and Atomix have teamed up for a night of Asian-fusion wonderful eating. In 2019, the Parks hosted a collaborative cooking night time with the Connaughtons in New York, all through which the 4 restaurateurs shared their respective techniques and philosophies. 

“We are extremely psyched to cook and collaborate with our excellent buddies JP and Ellia,” reported Chef Kyle Connaughton in a push launch. “We had the pleasure of becoming a member of them at Atomix in 2019 and it was so inspiring to see not only their cuisine but also their heat hospitality. We seem ahead to sharing that inspiration with our team and welcoming them to our house.”

The partners achieved just before their joint cooking ventures came to fruition, when the Parks frequented and dined at Solitary Thread shortly right after its 2016 opening.

“We continue to vividly remember how our first eating expertise moved us, by way of its one of a kind area, delicacies and hospitality,” the Parks famous. “We held in contact with Chef Kyle and Katina given that that visit, and have come to be very good close friends since. Collaborations are thrilling due to the fact we can trade two restaurants’ society and delicacies, and learn so significantly from the expertise.”
